We've been getting a good rain all day here in north central Nebraska. Usually kind of light, but sometimes it's really coming down. I'd guess at least an inch or better. For sure it's appreciated- hope it's just the start of a "wet spring"...
To keep this "on topic", dad just finished yesterday pulling the "cowchip harrow" over all of our best hay valley busting up chips and scattering them for fertilizer. I've been going behind him a couple days later with our gopher-poison drill pulled with an IH 484 deisel...ground sure is dry- the black smoke rolls out of that little 3-cylinder when I'm drilling...sure be alot more fun on doing it on an M or MD!
