When I got a little older and doing more work with it, it got so bad that I threatened to not help any more unless he put rubber on it. By God if he didnt take it in to the dealer had it rebored with oversize pistons, new rubber with cast wheels, and a new paint job. Boy was I proud the first time I took it out in spring. It was better than when it was new. He would not put in the 5/6 gears but we did not do a lot of road work. To this day I will not look at any steel wheel tractors no matter what they are worth. Sorry to get so emotional but you had to be there to appreciate it
