some success.. i replaced the entire hyd. valve assembly with one from a doner tractor. the continuous load on the engine is gone. i have no clue what is wrong with my old unit. i still have a high pitch noise that i think is comming from the hyd. pump. my next trick is to replace it. i did use the single acting "hydro-touch" system check valve from my old system. i repaced an O ring in it but other wise it looked ok. what does the single acting valve do?
