Early 1953 SM (at least some of them) have belly pump hydraulics and battery under tank. I have 2 that my Dad owned since late fiftys one is SN F 21257 (about 10,000 into 1953 numbers) with mostly late 1952 castings other has no serial plate but has mostly early 1953 castings. Both of these came with belly pump and battery under tank.
