Two years ago, I went back to Montana and got my Dad's 49 M and brought it to Washington state. I had sat for 15 years outside, luckily it had a rain cap on the muffler. It started right up after I put gas in and jumped it with the pickup. I would suggest draining the oil before you start it and check all the fluids. I mowed, rake and baled 40 acres of grass hay with it last year. Hopefully it will get a new coat of paint. Bob
