I don't know how old Brooks is, but his father, Chauncey Brooks McCormick (nephew of Cyrus), lived from 1884-1925, according to some McCormick family tree I read. Chauncey married Marion Deering (1886-1965) (grand-daughter of old William Deering) and Brooks was born. If Chauncey was 41 when he died, Brooks would have to be AT LEAST 79, though probably older. Maybe Brooks can clear this all up and tell me if my info. is correct.
P.S. Talk about a family tree: McCormick-Deering!
