Tom: I can't find anything specifically on the 230. I did find some literature on machines such as 175 and 275 and these machines go up to 24' headers and only using a 37 hp engine. It doesn't say which engine but my guess is it would be the C-135 used in tractors like 340 and 404 rather than the C-153 used in the 504. I think that 230 swather is an older version of the 275, not sure though.
