Joe, a C-169 or a C-175 engine can be installed on your tractor. If you decide to make the change, there is some differences though. It's not a bolt-in job unless you have a donor tractor. I can't tell the exact differences without looking at our tractors, but I scanned through the parts manual. Here's what I found. Make sure you get the following with gas engine: flywheel w/ring gear; rear engine support plate; front engine support brackets and probably front bolster supports. Also, the flywheel ring gears have a different number of teeth, which probably means a starter change. Exhaust manifolds are on opposite sides, throttle linkage is quite different, as is air cleaner. Some fabrication will be in order, but it's probably still cheaper than finding 193 block and rebuilding it, as parts for these engines are expensive. If I can be of anymore help, send me an e-mail.
