Mark, There were indeed 2 types of narrow front systems. The early H's and M's had a non- adjustable and later on, (not sure of the year) adjustable narrow fronts were available. YOu can tell the difference in that the non- adjustable hub casting has a shoulder on the inside and the rims seat against it and are held with lug clamps and lug bolts. The adjustable front has rims with offset dogs which allow for 4 separate positions on each wheel, whereas the non adjustable rims are plain with no dogs. The adjustable rims bolt directly to the hub casting and dont require lug clamps.
