Super A Hydraulic oil change??

Okay, I'm a newby at Red Power.
Getting to know my '51 Super A and getting it ready to work.
I'm changing out the hyd. oil because it may be contaminated by water. According to the manual, after draining, re-fill, remove drain plug and work levers 10-12 times forward and backward, replace plug and refill.
My question is
How do you accomplish this? Is there a "special trick or plug" to use? By the time I get to maybe 6 motions on the levers, all the fluid is already out!
