Hugh, So what you are saying is that when I am running rear implements I need to keep the lift pinned to the torque rod which is tied to the front lift and when I am running the rear sweeps for cultivating I can pin the hitch under the floorboard to keep it out of the way of my crop. I appreciate all the info. As far as the tractor manual, I have a 140 that was converted to 12volt. I am pretty sure it is a 1960 by the beginning serial numbers that I can make out on the plate, do I need to order the tractor manual for the 6volt system or the 12volt? Thanks.
