The Torque Amplifier only works in low range (lever back). I checked all the adjustments and removed the cover on top of the T A clutch to observe the clutch engagement. It engages just fine, there is space between the fingers and the throw-out bearing, but the clutch slips, so I have no direct drive. I just had the tractor split and thought the clutch and pressure plate was OK, but it doesn't seem to apply much force to the clutch disk. And yes, I did remove the 3- 5/16-18 cap screws when I had the clutch and pressure plate off. I suppose I will have to split the tractor again, but I don't want to take the center clutch housing off. When I had it apart before the torque amplifier assembly would only turn in one direction. I thought it was because of the rollers running up on the ramp, or am I wrong? Is there anything I can check without completely removing the TA? The tractor runs fine other than no direct drive. Any advise would be appreciated.
