Get the mower mounted first leave the lever till last that way you will have not used up the spacers bolts so forth. There is no problem with steering shaft unless you make it yourself as there is plenty of room for everything. Some people cant even get shoes on rite or thread a nut onto a bolt. You will not have a problem mounting the lift lever unless you try hard. Getting the heavy assy underneath goes better if you have some help. let me know if you have any problems be glad to help.
