Before you run it again, take the oil lines off and make sure they are all open. Otherwise, critical bearings may not be getting oil. A plugged oil line could explain why the oil pressure is so high. Also, hook a air line to the "Oil Distributor" in the crank case, take the side openings off and confirm that all four holes of the distributor are open. I burned out a bearing on a F-20 when one of the distributor holed was plugged and the splash trough was not getting any oil. As a result the rod was running dry.
Anyway, I would double check that your oil lines are clear before assuming you have a bad gauge.
