John, I've seen Cubs (in excellent condition) with no mowers or other attachments go for $1500-$2000 and sometimes higher. With mowers/attachments you can add at least $300 or more. On the other hand I've seen some "junk" Cubs that barely run or don't run go for near $1000. Every now and then you'll see a restored Cub bring over $2500. It really depends on your area and who's around with the cash. You can try auctioning it off to get more bidders but with your "far away" location you may be somewhat limited anyway. I find that centrally located sellers get a few more bidders (like on ebay or other auctions) than say the folks in the extreme northwest or northeast. You can always post it on this site--the photo ads section--put in either a firm price or an asking price that's negotiable. Just my 2 cents. I wish you the best on the sale whatever you decide.
