Yes, its the part that stays on the tractor that i am talking about. i was pretty sure that it shouldn't move but the tractor runs fair and i have tried stuff in the carb and whatnot but nothing seems to help it. i was wondering if this play in the coupling might be something to smooth it out. if its not likely to make a difference i don't want to go through all the trouble of taking the whole front of the tractor off to fix it. i appreciate your help. jeff
