I'm not sure what 'holler' you live in Jed, but 'round here, and elsewhere an F-12 can be a fun project to do, and one that can turn a modest profit (if you don't count your time in it). Junk 12's and 14's fetch anywhere from 100 to 500, running up to 1000, and totally restored close to 3500 ( I sold one for 3000). So, yeah you can part em' out or you can fix em' up. It depends on what the other fellow wants to get into. A blanket "your nuts, part it out" statement just doesn't cut it. He may be a new guy in search of info or help. -Z-
