Paul, The fact that you are using a Farmall H tells me that you are indeed at least a little mechanically gifted. I have a 52 H that is presently in my garage, my basement, and a few other rooms. Before tearing this tractor apart, I knew very little about it. With the number of fine folks who frequent this site, it is extremely unlikely that nobody would be able to help you repair your H in less than a month. I'll bet you will be out plowing with the H again very soon. Be sure to ask any questions you may have right here...you will get tons of help on this site. Besides, I have never had any luck trying to find or borrow a grand.
