Howdy, all. My Super A has a Delco 10si alternator on it that is wired correctly (checked and double checked about a dozen times), but doesn't have any output. I've had it put up on a tester and it showed an output there. I believe the belt is just too loose and is not spinning it up fast enough. (To give you an idea, you can press the two sides of the belt together at the middle pretty easily.) It cannot be tightened any further without the alternator being in the way of the front cultivator lift arm. I went to replace the belt, which was a 27" one, with a 24" one, but that won't fit over the fan. I'm going to try a 26" belt but i'm not sure it'll be tight enough. Any advice? I know I'm not the only guy out here who has had to monkey with a 12-volt-converted Super A. Thanks in advance, Darren
