Could it be from a lifting sling when the engine was put in at the factory? I guess it could be from a shifting front cultivator that was not disengaged while traveling. I could check my 1929 Regular since my grandfather had a No. 210/410 shifting cultivator on it. It may have the same marks on it. JG
