The true power sets use the conformatic piston, which was originally designed by Sterling. These current pistons are being made off of the Sterling molds, and are not the same alloy as the ones made in the 60s & 70s. The current pistons are quite a bit lighter than the originals. The sterling (conformatic) piston was actually used in some McQuay Norris & Sealed Power sets, with the pistons used in the sealed power sets being labled with the sealed power piston number.
