Searched but couldn't find 12V diagrams

A friend gave me a Cub, I'm guessing from the 70's, has a 12V generator on it that's shot. I have a single wire GM altenator I want to try putting on since it's what I have handy so the kids can cut grass. I searched but couldn't find any hook up diagrams, I know they are here, I've used them before but can't find them. I figure one of you guys can pop me a link in a second, I've already spent an hour and am getting no where! Thanks in advance, Lance
