Jim; The last part of March I hauled in short steel and recieved $190/ton. The second load I missed cutting a couple of longer chunks and this turned out to be a $100 dollar mistake as the scrap yard gave me 5' price for th whole load at $156/ton. Word has it from my local welding shop that they have been hauling clean short steel directly to the steel mill approx. 60 miles from here and getting $250/ton. I wish it was not plantinng season or I would be hauling 75 years woth of junk!
