I recently bought a service meter for a Farmall MD. It has the name Stewart Warner on it. I'm not certain but I think there should be a shaft with a gear on it to drive the service meter. This meter mounts on the front cover on the engine. It mounts on the side that is in front of the magneto. There is a small gear on the front of the shaft that drives the magneto and I'm assuming that this is what drives the service meter. I am wondering if anyone would have this shaft and gear? I have taken the service meter apart and I would like to reset it to zero but I'm not sure how to do that. Some of the paint on the meter part of it is wearing off which is making the numbers difficult to read. Is there anyone that restores these meters or a way to put a row of numbers on by using a sticker. Any help is appreciated.
