I have a Woods 106 on the back of a SMTA equipped with a 400 style fast hitch. I am not using the 3point hitch to fast hitch adaptor. The points are attached with one heavy bolt to the vertical plates on mower. Top link goes to bracket I made to fit rear of tractor. Some fast hitch points are made with a slight offset to get around the problem you are having. My points are straight, however. I like having the mower close to tractor. Less chance of high velocity frags hitting me in the back. How about moving the vertical blue plates to the inside of plates welded to mower. Maybe even put in a couple of 1/2 spacers.
