Well, I'm not answering your question, but I feel this picture is worth posting on your topic.
This is a 1970 IH 1026 Hydro, approx. 5000 hrs., on display at the Natl. Farm Mach. Show in Louisville KY. back in Feb. '04. Price tag -- only $21,500.
