I know that you have a nice clean connection between the connector on the battery cables and the battery terminals, but one thing that is often overlooked is possible corrosion between the actual wire in your cable and the connecter. Corrosion will happen there and cause poor conductivity between the connector and the wire. If your battery cables are over 10 years old, replace them.
