Not that this has anythign to do with antique tractors, for the Farmall/IH purist, NEITHER is anywhere near the original. McCormick is not "capitalizing on IH's past history." The McCormick name disappeared from frontline equipment long before the current generation of farmers were old enough to drive a tractor. Sure, the old M has "McCormick" on it, but to anyone you ask, it's an IH or a FARMALL, not a McCormick. They're selling the tractors for lower prices than the competition. Simple as that. I believe McCormick was formed while CaseIH was in the process of being bought out by New Holland.
