Get a bottle of "The Works" toilet bowl cleaner, dump it in, fill it half full of water and let it sit. it will eat the rust off the inside, and removes the flaky rust from the sides of the tank. I rince it out with diesel fuel and let it sit for a day or 2. Just depends on how bad it is. Chad
