IH No 120 Balanced head mower question

I picked up a No. 120 semi-mount mower at an auction last Saturday. It's in really good shape and looks to have spent most of it's life stored inside. We already have a No. 100 2 point that we use on the Super C. Just could't pass it up for $275.
I have 2 tractors I might want to attach to. One is a Farmall 460 with fast hitch and the other is a Ford 861. Do I mount directly to the drawbars or do I attach to drawbar extensions? I'll probably pick up a manual but haven't got that far yet.
