Have you ever worked on a seized Tachometer?

My IH 364 diesel tach seized at only 290 hrs. Cable is free, tach was locked up and I suspect my tach gearbox at the engine block is bad as a result. I was able to disassemble my tach, cleaned it up and got it free. It works smooth when attached to a drill. Now I need parts for the tach gearbox at the engine block. Anyone got any parts for these? Is it just 2 gears that make a right angle? My tach is the original AC brand and swings CCW. Any suggestions or know someone that may have parts?
