Assuming you have a gas engine and no muffler.
How much flame? Are we talking a little red hopping up out of the stack or three feet of orange shooting to the sky?
When I'm mowing with the Super M, particularly in the evening you can see a little red or sometimes blue hopping out of the stack a little bit.
If thats the case, its no big deal. If you've got big flames and such I'd look for problems.
