Your bull pinion shaft seals are leaking. The original seal is approximately an inch wide. The new replacement seal is only about a 1/4 of an inch wide, and they are avaiable from your Case/IH dealer. When I did my H I used two seals on each side and packed gun grease in between them. I believe these seals can be changed without pulling the bull pinion shaft assembly. Just be careful not to gouge up the cast housing. Don't be tempted to pull the cast bull pinion assembly. It looks like you can just pull it out by turning the cap screws into the threaded holes. If you you do this without pulling the axles and moving the bull gears over you will break the cast bull pinion assembly. I know this is how it is on a regular H, and I believe its the same on a straight M. I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Good luck Paul
