1066 hydro

when i go to change from forward to reverse it stahls for a second then leaps or sometimes it will not change directions when you move the lever from forward to reverse. it also does not act like it is at full speed in low or hi.i had no trouble with it,but had trouble with steering.it had a piece of something in the orfice.once i fixed that then i had trouble with the forward and reverse.the service manual talks about a screen in the servo, but where is the servo located?it shows diagrams,but i can not place it on the tractor.it also talks about a snap ring some where but i do not know where. thanks for any help.
