I think the 424 just has a screen, not a filter on the hydraulic unit. I had one of these years ago, but don't recall the location. The 424 has a separate reservoir for the hydraulics. It does not use the transmission fluid for the hydaulics. The reservoir, control valves, etc are in a unit mounted under the seat on top of the transmission under the seat. The screen or filter is probably somewhere on the suction line to the pump.
