I purchased a Farmall B which someone had already made a hydraulic system for out of a Buick power steering pump & all the other necessary gear. I bought a used (in very bad shape) 5' cutting deck which I repaired. I then welded a 2" peice of Sheffield steel angle across & uprights of 4" on each side of the original drag link on the back of my tractor.I then added 2" trailering arms without eyes to act as drag links to main U-frame assembly of the cuttiing deck. With the hydraulics already their it works very well. All this cost me including the deck $169.00. I love this old tractor, and have used it for everything that you can think of on a small farm in Texas.
