Hey, I know this one! WOW. The oil level is checked on the A & B in the same manner. Looking from the front of the tractor, look on your right hand side of the engine. (This is the actual left hand side.) Down near the oil pan, there are two drain cocks. My operator's manual (From Binder's Books -- get one) states this: When running on gasoline: Add sufficient new oil to bring oil up to level of upper test cock. If you are running on Distillate (Kerosene) then you drain to the first (lower) test cock, then add new oil to the 2nd (upper) test cock and then redrain to the first test cock before running. By the way, this is in the section listed as DAILY OR AFTER EVERY 10 HOURS OF OPERATION. Good thing I decided to bring my "A" off the field to change the oil today, huh? Wouldn't you know it, I also managed to save damaging a flat tire I got that I didn't notice until I brought her in. CSD
