I will begin restoration of a '49 Farmall Super AV in the spring of 2000. I have never undertaken a project like this before. I have all confidence that I can do it. (This tractor belonged to my grandfather and given to me by my uncle) So I have a lot of reasons to give this old wore out "Red iron" a new life. Is there anyone in the central part of North Carolina (Raleigh - Wake Co. area) that is now restoring a tractor or has restored a tractor? I sure would like a "local" expert to call on every now and again.
