Not sure where you mean the leak is. It sounds like the leak is where the axel comes out of the axel housing near the wheel itself. If this is the case it isn't a bad job at all. Raise the tractor, remove the wheel and pull that cap off of the outer end of the axel housing. The seal is right there and a new one from Case / IH isn't very expensive and I would also replace the felt piece that is located with the seal. The biggest challenge with doing that is the handling of the tire and hub. It is heavy and kind of hard to deal with. I use a shop crane and it works pretty easy with the crane. Hope this helps.
