PAT,a lot of things come into play when and if your pulling in compition,2nd gear is a good place to start but tire size is a big issue also horse power if you have a stock engine and stock tires you will do well in 2nd gear any alterations in the above will effect the way your tractor pulls. Good luck pulling and have fun.Just a word of caution, please think real hard about your tractor flipping over backwards it happens to the best of us.Paul.SMTA Puller.
