Good point on the calabration of the different dynometers! I agree with you also on the torque - Hp thinking. I get a kick out of these newer 4X4 tractors and the small (relatively speaking) engines the manufactors are using. Just for a example....Sure you can run a L-10 Cummins @ 300+HP in a truck and get away with it because the engine is on duty cycle of 40% or less. In a farm tractor that same engine is running on a 100% duty cycle and is working over 200% harder then in a truck. It's no wonder they have problems crop up. Set that same engine @ 200HP and it will run many many trouble free hours. Doc
