Paul: Close but not 100%, a few H's had disc brakes. My dad bought a new H in 1951 and it did have IH disc brakes. I have recently heard of a couple others, and all 51 models. I'm not so sure a few other SH items didn't come on some of the last H's Our H had Super type front wheels, but that had been around couple years on other Supers. I have no way of knowing for sure but wonder if some of those last H's didn't have the SH engine. Dad also bought a new 300 in 55, and the only advantage we could see was TA, and not the great power difference you read about here in discussions. We used the same 2x14 plow, 8' disk and 9' cultivator on both tractors.
