It could be the shift lever, or the detents. However, more likely the sliding 4th/5th gear, part number 358023 R1, 18 and 35 teeth. The 18 teeth on the inside of this gear are the ones that grind when you shift into 5th while the tractor is moving. They are probably nearly gone. Also can be a bad pilot bearing, 358036 R91. Also Aetna number RK-5205 or Hyatt BU-5205.
