12# is fine for a 4-ply. That's about all I run in My Super H. Under a real heavy load the sidewalls flex a little, like when pulling brush, but they wear nice that way. I sure would hate to pump up a 13.6 X 38 with a bicycle pump....Dad's compressor wasn't Big, but It sure was S-L-O-W.... but it never stopped Him or I from doing a LOT of tire work. One summer when I was about 14-15 I fixed so many tires if We got a flat on a hay rack or wagon I could bump the tire off, patch the tube and replace it and be on My way back to the field without Dad even missing Me.
