BN switch: the resistor smokes on low. Otherwise the switch is fine. Cub: The switch itself smokes when the fuse is connected. I'm drawing 2 amps with the switch off (the lights also come on); 2.6 A with the switch on low. I think there may be some corrosion inside that's causing a resistive bridge. Disconnecting the lights drops the current to 0. They are 6 volt lights on a 6 volt system.
