hi, it could have blown a gasketin the oil pump. just overall 45 farmall A, and it had a blown gasket. you should have got 2 thin gaskets with your gasket set. I also use adesive tack you can get from auto parts, it is yellow and will stick it together good if you let dry hope this helps Stevec
