Jim: Thanks for the reply. I finally found the pipe plug on the water outlet elbow, it was covered by dirt and grease and seemed to be part of the casting. My only probem is that I can't get it out because of the frame extension being less than a half inch away. I can barely get my finger in there. I saw what looks like a thumb screw on the left side of the engine block, but I didn't think it was a water drain because it is about half way up the side of the block, and of course I thought there would still be water below its level. I guess I'll just have to let the water drain, and then get a mop and start swabbing. Thanks again. Jerry
