You can test the generator by bypassing
the regulator but I dont recomend this unless
you take the time to learn how to do this
without damaging anything. Better yet take
the generator to a tractor store or an automotive
shop that can test it for you.
First check to be sure all of your connections
are clean and tight AND THAT YOUR REGULATOR
IS PROPERLY GROUNDED.
