When driving my IH 240U in road gear, 3/4 to full throttle, over a hilly 5 mile stretch, I think the clutch may be going out. On the flats and downhills, it acts just as it always has, but on the uphill climbs, it will slow to a stop with the engine revs showing no signs of being labored. If I drop it into 3rd, I can crawl to the crest, put it back in 4th and she'll go just fine... that is until the next uphill climb. There is no problems shifting gears. no clanking, whining, whirring, or otherwise 'bad' sounding noises. just the engine revs holding steady while the tractor rolls to a stop. Any Ideas? Thanks
