May have been running it wide open too soon. I would've thought tractor engines take so long to warm up this would not be a threat but I guess it is. I don't use my H for anything but hour-long tasks. I've confirmed the operation of the thermostat and temp meter and the needle never registers anything while in operation. Let us know if you find it's something else like a blocked oil port, etc. Sorry for this episode but you're already way more experienced than I in disassembly/reassembly.
